Recording & Playback

Whenever you want to stop the recording, you have to click on the orange square given near the record button.
For playback, you would require clicking on the green-color triangle on the panel.
Import Audio Track
Whenever you need to import any audio track, you need to click on the project tab given in the upper corner on the left-hand side.
Finally, you have to click on Import Audio.
Choose the file that you need to open.
Then, Click on the open button.
To make the selection of the entire audio, you have to click on edit, and then click on select, and choose the select all option, or just press Ctrl + A.
To choose portions of the audio track to ensure that the select tool on the left side corner has been selected.
After that, click and hold at the start of the segment you need to choose.
Then, you need to drag the mouse to the finish of the segment you need to select.
(The selected segment of audio is going to be dark grey in color)
To alter the soundtrack’s tempo, choose the portion of the audio that you would like editing.
After that, click the effect tab on the menu.
After that, click on the Change Tempo option.
Then, click and drag the tempo meter to change it.
Click on the preview button to listen to the audio sample you made changes to.
Whilst you get the preferred tempo for your audio, click on the OK button.
To modify the audio’s pitch, choose the portion of audio that you require editing.
After that, you have to click effect on the menu bar.
Select the Change Pitch option.
Change the pitch on the meter according to your preference.
Once you get the preferred pitch for your soundtrack, click on the OK button.
Deleting the Audio
When you want to delete a section or the whole audio track, you have to select that section of your audio that you desire to delete and click on the delete option provided on the edit tab, or just press Ctrl + K or delete or backspace button on the keyboard.
When you want to split the soundtrack or recording, you need to select the second half of whatever you require splitting.
After that, click on the split option provided in the edit tab on the menu.
Once you have finished recording or editing the audio track, you have to export the audio file from the File menu.
Select the “Export as MP3” or “Export as WAV” according to your preference.
Type in the file name that you want and click on the save button
